Job Description

The Regional General Manager will plan, administer and direct all activities related to the maintenance needs of our client hotels. This includes conducting Operations & Maintenance in compliance with the standards established by Aramark and the client via management of the vendor network and/or POM technicians. Service dispatch is a required part of the duties, as is using a CMMS technology platform. The accepted candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with key client figures to insure work is authorized and funded. The Regional General Manager may manage Regional General Manager operations in other regions to cover vacations and time away. They may also provide backfill duties for the Resident District Manager when they are out of the office or unavailable.

There will be a budgetary component to this role, such that the hotels within this region are operating according to maintenance budget of the client, and of operating budget of Aramark. Notably, this position will insure that billing is accurate and timely by thorough review and submission of vendor invoices and through review of billing data related to Aramark invoicing.

The Regional General Manager will support the development & growth of direct reports. They will also focus on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering the services Aramark is contracted to provide.

Work is generally conducted remotely with modest supervision, but will require 25% travel and a high level of client interaction.

The salary range for this position ranges from $100K - $120K, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Resident District Manager, directs all Maintenance Manager activities for a specific region of the client hotel chain. Will lead operations in absence of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Will participate in managing a vendor network and/or direct Aramark technicians to fulfill the work requests of the client at multiple locations within a specific region of the client portfolio.
  • Ensures that team is compliant with all contract obligations regarding timeliness and quality of service, client satisfaction and budget results. RGM will conduct operational, financial and training audits to ensure a high level of execution and compliance by applicable Aramark personnel and vendors.
  • Will participate in the development and oversight of Aramark and client budgets, ensuring effective financial management across account(s).
  • Establishes and maintains effective communications and collaborative business relationships with client, vendors, and facilities management team.
  • Uses EcoBPM CMMS and client CMMS system to properly support the operation and manage/close out work orders within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and trains others in its use.
  • Analyzes and takes action on business metrics.

Long Description

  • Responsible for the training, development and performance management of Maintenance Managers and their staff.
  • Supports compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards and programs. Will translate corporate strategy into front line operational tactics and will ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and other, local, state, and federal government regulations.
  • Process-focused and decisive to ensure effective execution of all department strategies/ initiatives to help meet company and client needs with a high standard of excellence, urgency and predictability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university/college is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in POM management required
  • Working knowledge of facility related equipment such as boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R required
  • Facilities Management Certification such as Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or equivalent is preferred
  • Proficiency in the use and functionality of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in mentoring and developing direct reports is preferred
  • High degree of integrity and business maturity
  • Previous P&L experience is preferred
  • Demonstrates time management skills resulting in prioritizing time and resources accordingly
