Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a Suites & Catering Manager to support Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals! The Suites & Catering Manager oversees daily catering food & beverage operations to prepare for and execute suites and catering operations for sports and special events in line with client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport, providing creative solutions to clients' needs
  • Create, manage, and communicate banquet event orders, connect with vendors, and deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
  • Collaborate with culinary department on menu development, event detailing, and event execution
  • Oversee catering event operations to ensure all client's needs and expectations are met
  • Recruit, schedule, train, and develop employees to ensure standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation and service
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables, deliver sales, food, and labor targets and maintaining department budgets
  • Ensure compliance with all food, occupational and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree preferred or at least 3 years of related experience required
  • Previous experience in a supervisor or manager level role in special events, hospitality, or catering required
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication, client relations, and ideally sales skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team dynamic
  • Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. and ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have availability to work operations, event-based hours, including evening, weekend, and potentially holiday hours
