Job Description

As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of Food Services, Housekeeping and Laundry operations to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and resident needs.

Job Responsibilities

Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour

? Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins

? Ensures compliance with appropriate infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.

? Ensure safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client's regulations and ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition and arranging for repairs as needed.

? Assists with the implementation of Aramark programs and controls. Performs food and sanitization log audits.

? Demonstrates a proactive approach with regard to client concerns and expectations

o Comply with established Resident policies/procedures

? Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development and delivery of all nutrition & food services program.

o Ensures all elements of meals are produced and served appropriately in the dining room

o Responsible for rotation of audit logs, daily menu postings.

? Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development of housekeeping practices.

o Develops and facilitates training programs to demonstrate new equipment and cleaning methods to all departmental staff.

? Coordinate?s catering, special project work, and other activities that effect the daily operation of the Food Services and Housekeeping departments

? Oversees schedules and payroll functions for all staff.

o Prepare weekly schedules for staff and modifies schedules as required to ensure full staff complement during regular shifts for culinary and housekeeping staff.

o Support coverage on sick and vacation time as needed.

? Use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential

o Reward and recognize employees o Plan and lead daily team briefings

o Assists with the coordination and implementation of front-line job routines and duties.

o Oversee talent/performance management process for all employees

Qualifications

? Strong financial controls, food/equipment, procurement, production and service systems and business ethics.

? 1 year of experience in a management role

? ServSafe? certified, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment?

? Microsoft office applications, EMR, and tray card system use

? 1 year of food service management in healthcare or senior living preferred.?

? Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and time

? Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships

? Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model

? Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.

? Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

? High school or GED

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

? Certified Dietary Manager/CDM, Food Service Manager Certification, or Associates Degree in Hospitality required
