Job Description

Aramark is seeking a Senior Manager of Inclusive Practices for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) responsible for the leadership of our 11 employee resource groups (ERGs), aligning our DEI strategic priorities into the annual strategic plans of the ERGs, diving governance and consistent practices across our executive sponsors and ERG leaders. This role supports the development of goals an ultimate work of ERGs in areas such as recruitment, professional development, membership engagement, and business alignment. This position is accountable for leveraging relationships with applicable Centers of Excellence to enhance and design existing and future DEI imperatives that support Aramark?s overall people and business priorities.

The Senior Manager of Inclusive Practices is accountable for working directly with multiple lines of business and corporate functional teams to implement strategies that embed inclusive practices into all that we do especially our people, growth, and community priorities. Additionally, this role will have significant impact in supporting our talent acquisition and talent management, teams, and cultivate relationships with our corporate, and field US and International HR peers, providing consultation and assistance in identifying barriers and leveraging inclusive best practices in the talent cycle, specifically recruitment, development, and retention.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting professional development initiatives led by the ERGs in areas such as networking, mentorship, sponsorship, community engagement, and business support.
? Enhances collaboration across ERGs focused on intersectionality, leveraging resources, quality and intentionality in programing and events, and supporting the overall people and business needs of Aramark.
? Approves and monitors the development and execution of ERG annual strategic plans and budgets, designs leadership development opportunities for ERG leaders, guides the selection process of new leaders and leverages the use of our ERG tool kit to provide appropriate guidance/guardrails.
? Partners with ERG leaders to facilitate the nomination and selection process for external and internal conference attendance and annual ERG award recognition for members and allies.
? Primary administrator of our ERG membership technology platform, event/program/engagement surveys, calendar, and other tools that archive ERG activities.
? Aligns efforts/priorities across ERG Hub leaders, DEI champions, field-based sustainability managers, and Star volunteer team leaders in partnership with applicable COE teams.
? Enhances our existing efforts specific to broader dimensions of diversity such as: Veterans, People with Disabilities, Native American/Indigenous, and the LGBTQ+ community, managing our self-ID campaign, and applicable external partnerships.
? Partners with our international peer HR team to align DEI imperatives across the regions/countries, especially focused on ERG hub expansion.
? Partners with Hospitality Enablement and Marketing to enhance Aramark?s Chef Spotlight initiative highlighting the inclusiveness of our culinarian community, authenticity of recipes, and encouragement of ERG membership.
? Conducts and/or delegates appropriately to team members or DEI champions requests to present at workshops, seminars, and client presentations on DEI topics.
? Responsible for review of ERG and drafting of DEI communications across multiple platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or related field; diversity certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related human resources experience
  • 3 years of diversity program implementation experience preferred
  • Strong program/project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience/success managing multiple ERGs aligning DEI priorities and measuring impact.
  • Experience in supporting professional development and training initiatives focused on inclusive employment practices.
  • Experience developing successful partnerships, creating and implementing new programs and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must demonstrate excellent judgment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Power Point and Excel
