Project Execution Specialist - Remote + travel

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Project Execution Specialist is to execute and scale enterprise wide process improvement initiatives. This individual will be responsible for taking successful pilot projects and supporting the team in scaling replicable aspects across the network to all client locations in order to maximize benefits and savings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees project plan creation, execution, stakeholder responsibilities, monitoring, communication cadence, and facilitates the development of initiatives through meetings and customized communications
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engagement planning, formalized communications and engagements, stakeholder report outs, support of mobilizations and key program development, and support of client presentations
  • Supports the roll-out and execution of enterprise or Region/District/Site as directed by region leadership to drive outcomes, focusing on efficiency/effectiveness, adherence to standards, and an increase to overall performance
  • Supports with the intake, organization, assignment, and closeout of projects
  • Provides the scope of work to sponsors/owners and guiding project managers to ensure to exceed expectations
  • Liaises with key stakeholders, onsite teams and external partners, manages project roles and responsibilities and stays at the forefront of potential risks to timelines, budgets, etc

Long Description

  • Moves multi-faceted and multi-tiered processes forward while maintaining attention to detail under extreme time pressures
  • Fosters support and relationships by developing a strong level of trust and credibility with all stakeholders
  • Translates and communicates information, implications, and recommendations using clear written and verbal skills appropriately with a diverse audience
  • Enables identification, resolution, and potential escalation of issues and course correct / revise project plans
  • Support with data analysis for project, financial, and operational reporting within the project portfolio

Qualifications

  • College degree and or equivalent experience. Preference for 1-2 years of project management experience, with record of measurable success and effective performance.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally in person, by phone and through email.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities or client accounts.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with staff at all levels, and remaining positive, proactive and resourceful.
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, previous experience with PowerBI, and Smartsheet and plus.
  • Able to read and understand various reports and take appropriate action.
  • Must possess a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and be well organized.
  • An understanding of entry-level project management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Work well and collaboratively as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to manage positive client relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills and follow through.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
