Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role will report to the HR Manager and will be essential in supporting in daily operations and serving as the point of contact to employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for union and non-union employees.
  • Assist with new hire orientations.
  • Assist with internal and external job postings.
  • Maintain employee files.
  • Assist with employee relations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing administrative assistant responsibilities.
  • Other administrative duties assigned by HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

Education

Associates preferred

Bachelors preferred
