Job Description
As the Nutrition Student Intern, you'll be at the forefront spreading awareness of dietary needs and the Ram Hospitality program to the rest of our Fordham Community. The Nutrition Student Intern will assist the Campus Registered Dietitian with nutrition events across campus along with nutrition. This includes event planning, marketing and execution. This position is ideal for a nutrition student in any track and most importantly an interest in dietary needs, food allergies, nutrition, marketing, and a desire to elevate the Ram Hospitality program as a whole!
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $16.00 to $16.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Sampling at the various dining locations on campus
- Setting up information tables located throughout campus
- Support Campus Dietitian to spreading awareness of inclusive options on campus for students with dietary needs and overall healthy food choices on campus
- Creating and executing various health & wellness events and dining events o Surveying students for feedback and areas of opportunity
- Analyzing survey data, assisting in updating menus throughout dining halls
- General office work, conducting audits at campus dining locations as needed
- Assisting the Campus Dietitian & Marketing team with daily tasks
- Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to customer experience, health & wellness, marketing, food service
- Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

Qualifications
- Current Fordham student, interested in nutrition, health & wellness, dietary needs, food allergies, food safety, marketing, event execution
- Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form
- Ability to communication and maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude towards students, clients, guests, co-workers, etc.
- Ability to work 8-15 hours per week
- Support customer experience strategies and perform duties accordingly
- Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively o Ability to comply with university policies and dining policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
