Job Description

The Maximo Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance schedules using IBM Maximo. This role involves ensuring that all maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance, are planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently. The coordinator will collaborate closely with facility management teams to maintain the smooth operation of building systems and infrastructure. This position is essential for ensuring the facilities remain safe, operational, and well-maintained.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules using IBM Maximo.
  • Track resource utilization, productivity, and performance using KPIs.
  • Define sequencing and manage backlogs to enable efficient task assignment to skilled trades.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of scheduled tasks.
  • Monitor and track work orders, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed as planned.
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate corrective maintenance (CM) activities to address unexpected equipment breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide training and support to staff on Maximo scheduling processes and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with IBM Maximo or other asset management software, preferably in a scheduling or coordination role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in IBM Maximo.
  • Experience in facility management.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices and safety standards.
