The Denali Park Village is seeking a dedicated and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team for the upcoming spring and summer season. This position is crucial to ensuring our hotel facilities are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for guests and staff. The Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance, repair tasks, and support the opening and closing of facilities each season. This is a hands-on role suited for someone skilled in various trades, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Located just 7 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Park Village Hotel operates from May to September. Our guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, exceptional dining options, and live entertainment in a stunning natural setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of hotel facilities at the beginning of the season, including full property water-up process, preparing rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Support the closing process at the end of the season by winterizing plumbing, securing equipment, and preparing facilities for the off-season.
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Adaptable to customer needs.
- Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
- Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
- Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
- Coordinates with different departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B and Human Resources.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required. Previous hotel and seasonal experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
