Job Description

The Maintenance worker is responsible for providing support to all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $26.00 to $28.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures safety standards in all operations.
  • Responsible for developing and executing maintenance solutions to meet customer needs
  • Executes facilities maintenance and upkeep following predefined specifications
  • Ensures safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client regulations.
  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
  • Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
  • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
  • Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress.
  • Delivers and models WEST as a foundation for excellent customer service.
  • Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends.

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance/utility experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend availability is required.
  • This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting more than 40lbs, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
