Job Description
The Lobby Services Associate coordinates the flow of patients, guest, and visitors by providing accurate information, problem-solving matters in the moment, and responding to a variety of needs. All of which requires high-quality customer service and a professional approach.
Location: Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park IL
Employment Type: Full-Time (Rotating Shifts)
Hourly Rate: $18.50 p/h + Shift Differential and Weekend pay
Must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $18.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
? Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward patients, visitors/guests, clients and co-workers. Is responsive to customer needs.
? Screens visitors/guests, clients and co-workers as required by client, using outpatient badges and Easy Lobby.
? Provides direction and other helpful information to persons entering the facility and others.
? Ensure that individuals entering the facility have purpose for being onsite.
? Accesses information through the appropriate systems as required.
? Maintains and secures patient confidentiality as required by HIPAA.
? Opens and closes entrances as directed and assists in maintaining cleanliness of lobby area.
? Dresses in designated uniform and adhering to proper hygiene when reporting to work and performing job duties.
? Coordinates availability and ensures that returned wheelchairs are sanitized using infection control procedures. Immediately reports any equipment malfunctions and removes equipment from service until repaired. Monitors wheelchair availability.
? Arranges patient transport via Central Transport and/or hospital volunteers. Only transports patients as needed.
? Responds to patient emergencies as needed, requesting assistance as appropriate.
? Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with multiple departments/staff and volunteers.
? Assists in training new employees. May assist with training volunteers on supporting Guest Services.
? Reports hazardous situations in lobby, building entrance and hospital driveway to appropriate departments.
Appropriately reports hazards reported to them in other areas of the facility.
? Maintains open line of communication with hospital security department, immediately reporting security issues accordingly.
? Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal regulations
? Maintains compliance with ARAMARK?s standards of operation, client and within ARAMARK?s Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to regulations and codes.
? Maintains compliance with all requirements of Federal, State and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
? All other duties as assigned.t.

Qualifications
? Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
? Previous guest services experience required.
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
? Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Demonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
