The Lifeguard ensures the safety of patrons of our aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Welcome and accommodate guests and staff in an effective and courteous manner. Handle customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.00 to $17.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities
? Empowered to make decisions that directly affect the guest?s experience in a positive fashion.
? Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
? Responsible for carrying out property specific rules.
? Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
? Performs various maintenance duties as advised to maintain a clean and safe facility.
? Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.
? Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
? After training, must display a solid understanding of emergency procedures so that employee and guest safety will be insured.
? Participates in the Quality Assurance Programs that include daily inspections and reviews to address areas in need of improvement.
? Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
? Manages the flow of guests in and out of the pool area, collecting payment as necessary.

Qualifications
Chemical Machine, Pool equipment, First Aid Equipment
Travel Requirements: Little or No Travel (>10%)
Lifeguarding Certification & CPR/First Aid Certification (current)
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
