Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for assisting HR leadership with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, collecting HR metrics, coordinating meetings, and creating/maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Human Resources Specialist will be required to interact with visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. This position will report to the Senior Human Resources Manager.

Schedule: This position requires flexible, full-time availability, including nights, weekends, holidays.

Job Responsibilities

? Responsible for performing administrative functions including collecting and distributing mail, ordering, and stocking supplies, answering phones, and coordinating staff meetings.

? Perform and maintain internal audits on essential HR analytics.
? Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary.
? Create and maintain HR SOPs.
? Assist with employee life-cycle tasks including onboarding and offboarding.
? Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office

Qualifications

? High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 2+ years administrative support experience.
? Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
? Ability to optimally connect with employees.
? Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
? Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software. Experience with pivot tables and Access is preferred.
