Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Director of Engineering Code Compliance position at BronxCare Health System, located in Bronx, NY. Responsible for the day-to-day management of Code Compliance for the Engineering Department as it relates to the Life Safety Code and Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities as well as all Authorities Having Jurisdiction. Assists the Director of Engineering or Plant Operations & Maintenance with facility projects and concerns as well as management of Facility Fit Pro Asset Management System (CMMS).
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Manages code compliance as well as all documentation and logs.
- Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels with client organization.
- Develops required preventive maintenance program and documentation to satisfy policies, procedures as it relates to The Joint Commission and CMS requirements.
- Reviews plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements.
- Implements and maintains an effective two-way communication system which reaches all employees.
- Maintains in-compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, and other local, state and federal statutes and regulations, including Ventilation of Health Care Facilities ANSI/AHRAE/ASHE Standard170-2017.
- Maintains compliance with ARAMARK?s standards of operation, client and within ARAMARK?s Business Conduct Policy.
- Maintains all records and reports necessary for regulations and codes.
- Responsible to manage and review facility Engineering Policy and Procedures as well as the Utility Management Plan as it relates to Joint Commission.
- Manages the CMMS program
- All other duties assigned.

Qualifications
- Requires a Minimum of 7-10 years of Management experience in Engineering, Facilities or Plant Operations & Maintenance (POM) to include construction experience.
- Experience managing a facility of 3 million Suare Feet or larger required.
- Acute Care Hospital - Healthcare experience required
- Strong technical hands-on knowledge with MEP, HVAC, boilers, chillers, air handlers and cooling towers.
- Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and the policies, codes, standards, and regulations that applies to the plant operations and facilities maintenance department.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, having the ability to work well with others at all levels is desired.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills all required
- Ability to train, teach, mentor, show and follow-up on all assignments, when necessary
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Can interpret and follow technical instructions and complete assignments timely while demonstrating a sense of urgency
