Job Description

The Digital Marketing Assistant is an integral part of the CCU Food Crew marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager. This role is primarily responsible for driving digital marketing strategies and managing social media platforms to promote dining services, increase student engagement, and enhance brand visibility. The Digital Marketing Assistant also collaborates with campus partners and leverages analytics to measure and optimize campaign success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with dining program goals.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.
  • Plan and implement digital advertising campaigns to promote events and meal plans.
  • Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics, offering insights to enhance strategy.
  • Maintain cohesive branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create and implement campaigns that drive sales, engagement, and awareness.
  • Support campus-wide events by promoting them through digital platforms and social media.
  • Conduct website updates, account promotions (Grubhub) and digital audits.
  • Develop strategies to increase meal plan holder retention and reduce attrition.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives using analytics.
  • Assisting with other marketing duties as assigned by Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have availability to work occasional weekends and evenings as required for events or business needs.
