Job Description
The Catering Sales & Ops Admin is responsible for assisting the catering and sales department with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, ordering, data entry, filing, etc. The Catering Sales & Ops Admin will be required to work well with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
? Responsible for performing administrative functions including distributing mail, ordering and stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors
? Assist catering and sales department with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc.

? Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary
? Provides completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event.
? Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management.
? Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event.
? Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management.
? Operate technology, systems, and software such as copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office
? Answer account questions via email and/or telephone in a timely manner
? Complete, copy and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
? Collect/Post payments for events
? Ensure catering files are complete and up-to-date
? Complete weekly event calendars and required correspondence to guest/client
? Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Catering Manager.
Qualifications
? Prior administrative experience preferred
? Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
? Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs.
? Requires frequent performing of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
? Experience with Catering Banquet Event Order Systems a Plus
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
