As a Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre Performer, you will entertain guests through live performances, embodying characters, singing, dancing, and delivering scripted lines as part of an immersive dining experience. Your role will be to bring the production to life, captivating the audience with humor, drama, and energy to create a memorable night out.

Summer days in Alaska stretch nearly endlessly, with up to 20 hours of daylight on the Summer Solstice. Spanning 6.2 million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Conveniently accessible by road?4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks?this breathtaking area offers daily bus services along the park road throughout the warm summer months, providing opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, climbing, and camping.

Located just 7 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Park Village Hotel operates from May to September. Our guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, exceptional dining options, and live entertainment in a stunning natural setting.

Position Details: This exciting seasonal role is available from May 8 - September 17, 2025. We offer competitive wages, comfortable on-site housing, and a variety of fun activities to keep your summer vibrant. Stay active in our on-site gym and enjoy an inclusive meal plan for just $15 a day.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform in a variety of roles as directed, which may include singing, dancing, improvisation, and acting in scripted scenes.
  • Engage directly with the audience, often incorporating guest interactions as part of the performance.
  • Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout each show, creating an enjoyable and lively atmosphere for guests.
  • Collaborate with other cast members and team to refine performances and adapt to feedback.
  • Attend rehearsals, read-throughs, and any costume fittings or pre-show preparations as scheduled.
  • Adhere to performance schedules and call times to ensure a smooth and timely execution of the production.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in theatre, musical theatre, or live performance settings.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Strong stage presence and a high level of comfort performing in close proximity to guests.
  • Excellent communication skills and an engaging, personable demeanor.
  • Ability to adapt to unexpected situations, incorporating improvisational skills where needed.
  • Physical stamina and flexibility to perform multiple shows per evening or weekend.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal training in acting, dance, voice, or related performance arts.
  • Experience in interactive or improvisational theatre.
  • Background in singing or musical performance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic stagecraft, costume, or prop handling is beneficial.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
