Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking an Accounting Manager! This position will report onsite to the U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, and will provide accounting support for Aramark Sports & Entertainment accounts including the University of Iowa and Xtreme Arena. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely information, maintenance of client profit and loss account as well as overall compliance with internal company procedures and controls. The Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with other financial departments, including AR, AP, PO, Tax, Payroll, Treasury and HR in order to meet all objectives.

  • Reconcile receipts, sales tax and credit tips to payments collected
  • Work with location leadership to accurately prepare subcontractor settlements for payment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts
  • Assist financial leadership with ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Assist with financial close process including commission statement preparation
  • Adhere to all internal, external, and client deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree preferred or equivalent hands-on accounting/finance experience with progressive analytical responsibility required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and work with senior management as well as prioritize multiple projects simultaneously is key
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills and will be able to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team dynamic
  • Must have availability to work flexible, event-based hours if needed
