As a Web Specialist you will be part of a global marketing team and you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our web presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience for our users.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our eCatalog platform to drive business growth and customer satisfaction and in optimizing search functionality, ensuring that users can easily find relevant information, and contributing to the overall success of our online presence.
This role requires close collaboration with many stakeholders, from regional to global marketing and communications teams.
Your Role:
- Support design, development, and maintenance of our website, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface
- Partnering with agency development teams to ensure timely and accurate updates, and communication to teams regarding updates and outstanding items
- Support and collaborate on the migration of the website from the .NET Framework to .NET Core, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining site performance, security, and functionality
- Perform QA and/or UAT for CMS and content-related development tasks using available external tools, fixing bugs as needed
- Manage and support the day-to-day operations of Aptiv eCatalog platform (products catalog); Troubleshoot and support to resolve technical issues related to the eCatalog, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Support with optimization efforts for the website's search functionality to enhance user experience and work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly search interfaces for all search experiences on Aptiv website
- SEO updates to on-page copy, metadata improvements, image optimizations

Your Background:
- 4-5 years of relevant professional work experience required
- Experience in front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, familiarity of Bootstrap framework
- Familiarity of content management systems, Sitefinity preferred or working knowledge of similar platforms
- Experience with website standard methodologies, including information architecture/navigation, responsive web design, content formatting, cross-linking, metadata, and tagging
- In-depth knowledge of search algorithms, information retrieval, and data indexing
- Familiarity of Adobe package (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
- Able to communicate and work enthusiastically with internal and external customers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Very good command of English
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
