University Relations Intern

Your Role

The University Relations intern will play a key role on the Aptiv Talent Acquisition team. The role will entail, supporting Aptiv's campus recruiting efforts, with hands-on experience in coordinating events, process improvement, and managing talent pipelines.

Key job responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conduct phone screenings for both internship and full-time positions, evaluating candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, and making recommendations for next steps in the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the coordination and logistics for campus events, including career fairs and outreach activities.
  • Support the creation and management of recruiting materials.
  • Help track and manage the university relations budget, ensuring accurate spending and reporting.
  • Collect feedback from, analyze data, and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate with campus teams to ensure events are well staffed and organized.
  • Help with branding initiatives by ensuring all materials align with Aptiv's identity and maintain consistency across platforms.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Student graduating between May 2027 - December 2028 pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or relevant major
  • Interest in Human Resources or Talent Acquisitions
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Collaboration and customer focused
  • Passionate about people, processes, and technology
  • Data driven
