Position Summary
Autonomous vehicle systems test engineers are taking main role in final step of Active Safety systems verification: functional tests in prototype vehicles. To provide reliable results their main responsibilities are: creating complete set of test procedures, performing tests on test track using dedicated vehicles and special test equipment, analyzing results and preparing test reports. Due to complexity of active safety systems and petabytes of data for analysis, our main challenges are: smart approach to testing and development of dedicated software tools. Join our international team working on Active Safety and Autonomous Driving vehicles, be a part of the newly built Ultrasonic Interior Protection testing team.

Your Role
- Participating in the creation of a new team for Ultrasonic Interior Protection testing
- Supporting customers during mechanical integration process
- Performing calibration and validation for ultrasonics sensors
- Participating in error analysis for warranty processes
- Determining the scope of testing at the customer's plant
- Executing UIP tests on prototype vehicles requiring TISAX protection at Aptiv's headquarters and at customer facilities
- Analysis of data collected during tests
- Presenting test results to the customer
- Presenting error analysis results to the customer
Your background
- MSc degree in Acoustic Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related
- Experience of at least a few projects from the area of software/hardware engineering
- Awareness of the protection requirements for prototypes such as TISAX
- Awareness of intrusion protection alarms
- High technical awareness (car components, ordering process)
- Ability to speak, to read and to write in English
- Ability to work in a team
- Driving license cat. B
Nice to have
- Extended knowledge about system testing
- Experience with Automotive industry
- Extended knowledge of mathematical analysis, signal analysis
- Driving license cat. C for trucks
- CAD software skills
- Mechanical Engineering experience
- Good knowledge of warranty processes in the Tier 1 segment
