Technical SW Manager Advanced Safety

Your Role:

• Own and ensure high-quality, at-cost, and on-time delivery of the assigned product

• Know and align different stakeholder requirements to keep a clear vision of the product / component to maximize money saved per invested money by applying the platform re-use strategy (ROI)

• Ensure component / stakeholder milestones align with internal product road map

• Serve the team and the product vision by resolving impediments and removing risks

• Trigger escalation processes if necessary to improve the execution efficiency

• Collaborate with Customer / Stakeholders to ensure flawless deliveries

• Support in escalation processes from stakeholder/customer side to minimize waste work

• Work as One Aptiv towards a successful platform and customer project execution

• Find and implement process improvements to increase productivity and execution excellence

• Identify impediments for project execution from a holistic One Aptiv perspective

• Create improvements to remove impediments and ensure their successful implementation

• Support Design and develop technical product road map to ensure delivery to product road map

• Consults with product management on customer/markets pain points / lessons learned during execution

• Evaluate new technologies (e.g. AI enhanced path planning) on technical feasibility and expected cost / re-usability across customers

• Consults during RFI and RFQ phases to define what GPO Advanced Safety can deliver.

• Provide and drive input to EFIT discussions to ensure the capabilities of core components/features are correctly considered

• MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or natural science

• Strong motivation to learn new technologies like AI based approached to L2+ urban systems

• Strong entrepreneurial attitude, high level of motivation and dedication

• Ability to drive full ownership of delivery for a specific product R

• Documented leadership, team oriented work experience, communication skills

• Experience in SW-Engineering

• Experience in SW Project Management

• Problem solving & negotiating skills

• Ability to speak, to read and to write English

• Ability to speak, to read and to write German (nice to have)
