System Engineering Intern - ASUX

Your Role

Join Aptiv's Advanced Safety & User Experience team as a Systems Engineering Intern, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking technologies that are shaping the future of automotive safety and user interaction. As a key member of this team, you'll work on projects that enhance driver safety, improve the user experience, and innovate vehicle interaction systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design, develop, and validate advanced safety systems. Vehicle access/Security and Domain Controllers
• Support the integration and testing of user experience technologies, including in-car features, vehicle functions.
• Analyze system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and industry standards.
• Contribute to the development of functional safety solutions, including failure mode analysis and system validation testing.
• Assist in the design of simulation models for system performance analysis and improvement.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for future vehicle systems, providing fresh perspectives and technical input.
• Present your findings and project progress to senior engineers and stakeholders.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for cutting-edge technology.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, control systems, or user interface design.
• Familiarity with automotive systems or experience with Embedded electronics/Wireless communication is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
