Software Engineer - Interior Sensing

Position Summary
We're seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to develop innovative interior sensing technology designed to enhance the safety and comfort of the vehicle cabin. Interior sensing is a new and rapidly growing area that provides life-saving products such as driver drowsiness/attention monitoring, seat belt recognition, and left-behind child detection, as well as convenience features such as gesture recognition. In this role you will bring the product vision for the next generation of interior sensing innovations to reality by working as part of a global engineering team to design, implement and test software features and user-focused use cases.

Requirements:
- Implementation of correct and highly reusable software deploying car interior monitoring features using C++ and Python.
- Implementation on various platforms including PC and embedded systems.
- Integration of ML models implementing driver defect detection functionalities
- Learn to follow existing AS&UX standards in SW development process:
- Collecting and analysing SW requirements,
- Preparing SW design documentation,
- Programming SW modules,
- Preparing and performing tests to verify SW work products.
- SW testing according to ASPICE processes
- Active participation in trainings to improve professional skills.
- Co-operation with local and remote AS&UX teams.
- Work under supervision according to given instructions and project guidelines.
- Care for good company image.
- Care for confidential information and company's property.
- On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Kraków
Requirements:
- MSc or Bachelor degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
- Knowledge of C++ programming languages
- 3+ years of experience writing software using C++
- Experience with Linux and/or QNX
- Experience with computer vision and image processing
- Experience with Polarion
- Familiarity with programming microcontrollers and processors and supporting tools
- Ability to speak, to read and to write English
- Availability as required
- Team oriented
- Honesty in relation with company, clients and co-operators
