Your Role
- Lead the design and development of software architectures for automotive embedded systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Define architectural patterns, components, and interfaces to support modularity, scalability, and reusability across various automotive applications and platforms.
- Drive the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements analysis to deployment, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of automotive product development processes to tailor software architecture solutions to meet industry-specific requirements and regulatory standards.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance audits to validate architectural decisions and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Utilize expertise in embedded systems to design architectures leveraging microcontroller platforms, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and communication protocols for automotive applications.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customer engagements, providing expertise and support to address requirements and concerns.
- Establish and manage testing and debugging processes to validate software architectures, ensuring reliability and performance across different platforms and configurations.
- Conduct functional and integration testing using tools like Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, and Renesas hardware to resolve architectural issues.
- Maintain architecture toolchains and environments, including configuration management, workflow automation, and tool integration, to support efficient design activities.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance productivity and drive continuous improvement in architecture practices.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and proposing innovative architecture solutions to enhance satisfaction.

Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, or Telecommunication Engineering.5 years of experience in embedded software development with a focus on architecture.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ development and expertise with microcontroller platforms on Embedded Linux, QNX, or VxWorks.
- Solid experience with AUTOSAR-based architectures, RTOS, and communication protocols.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive product development processes and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Vector CANalyzer and CANoe, along with expertise in using architecture tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Polarion, or similar).
- Strong understanding of functional safety principles (ISO 26262).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement skills.
