Your Role

• Strong experience in Automotive Infotainment systems.
• Proficiency in audio subsystem design/architecture on multiple platforms.
• Deep architecture and development level knowledge on one or more Infotainment Products
• Hands on experience on industry leading SoCs in automotive sector such as Qualcomm, Samsung.
• In-depth knowledge on all the standard audio features in infotainment and safety critical audio features.
• Strong knowledge of Android Audio Framework, audio policy manager, audio flinger, Audio HAL, media server, and audio server & Tiny ALSA.
• Proficient in leading the designs/discussions that can fulfill Android Auto and CarPlay certifications with respect to audio playback & capture.
• In-depth design knowledge on audio routing, ECNR integration, DSP driver, A2B driver, Class D/AB amplifier drivers.
• Sound knowledge in TDM, I2S, I2C and SPI protocols & its interfacing/analysis techniques.
• Have good knowledge and understanding of Android audio framework development and debugging.
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Concepts, and Multi-threading.
• Excellent C, C++ programming Java programming, software design and software quality
• Good to have audio architecture design in hypervisor based infotainment system.
• Strong record in product launch experience.
• Good to have knowledge of creating proposals, detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents.
• Experience in UML (Enterprise architect) and Agile.

• Should be a Software Architect responsible for Audio component in Infotainment product development across various platforms like Linux, QNX and Android.
• Should independently own the Infotainment SW architecture design on various infotainment platforms.
• Analyze customer requirements, internal requirement and standard requirement to create software architectural design.
• Ensure the creation of software design document from architectural design by partnering with stakeholders like system engineer, SW team, SWPL, IT&V, electrical engineer)
• Participate in software architectural and software design reviews
• Participate in competency design, customer design reviews and deep dive discussions for any challenges faced in design/issues
• Develop reuse strategy for the product/project
• Should be able to train and lead the complete Audio topics and team
• Be abreast with current technology trend in Infotainment Products and handle stakeholders & customer requests.
• Should understand and experience in various Infotainment KPIs, certification activities/process including APQM, ITUT and Audio Tuning.
