Your Role

Aptiv's marketing team is looking for a talented writer and editor to produce clear and compelling articles and white papers about our technologies for an automotive OEM audience. In this role, you will help ensure an authoritative voice in Aptiv's thought leadership materials. Your day to day will consist of the following:

  • Research and write high-quality white papers and web articles that help establish Aptiv's technical expertise and thought leadership
  • Conduct ongoing interviews with Aptiv subject-matter experts to develop extensive knowledge of Aptiv's technologies and the way we talk about them
  • Adapt messaging for an audience that can range from engineers to purchasers to executives
  • Work with marketing leads to develop content that supports product launches and pursuit activities
  • Help write and edit content for email and social campaigns
  • Align content with Aptiv's strategic priorities and key messages
  • Ensure that content is optimized for search engines
  • Help document and maintain style guidelines, brand voice and best practices for writing and SEO
  • Work closely with teams in production, digital marketing and social media

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • 10 or more years as a writer in a content marketing or journalism role
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to accurately represent our company voice with intelligence and consistency
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with technology topics, preferred
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field
  • Ability to travel (10%)
