Senior System Engineer. Troy, MI. Create and lead maintenance of Specific Process Documentation for the Systems Competency in alignment with company product development processes. Lead, analyze, control, and manage customer-specific requirements and derived product requirements as per Product Development Process. Negotiate requirement implementation with customers and various development competencies. Identify key aspects of product/interface architecture and provide focused feedback in support of development. Lead and conduct design reviews (internal and with customers) in support of product development. Manage system team planning for current and future implementation stages. Develop test bench and test strategies to achieve 100% customer requirement verification. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Communications Engineering and two years of experience as a Systems Engineer in the automotive industry designing and developing automotive embedded systems, managing automotive system customer requirements, supporting cost saving initiatives for product design/manufacturing, negotiating system design requirements, performing design validation, and use of DOORS/Polarion.
