Candidate Profile & Main Responsibilities

The holder of the position will be responsible to lead part of the reporting and analytics for specific stakeholders within the 180-strong matrix AS&UX SCM organization as well as support additional business analytics deliverables. Main responsibilities are:

  • Tableau strategy for plethora of dashboards for matrix AS&UX SCM organization. Being able to create (technically) dashboards, being able to understand data behind these dashboards, being able to manage cadence and regular improvements to these Tableau dashboards, with a layering strategy in mind (lagging vs leading KPIs, layering dashboards per different spams/layers of organization, connections in between)
  • Working closely with functional stakeholders, category teams, buyers to improve existing data-based deliverables and streamline data-related reporting processes, reducing cycle time for completion, ability to apply 80/20 pareto to data, problem solving methodology etc.
  • Independently managing self, internal working groups or external team (TCS) who are responsible for large master data sets, with a purpose of cleansing, transforming, loading etc. (ETL) and translating them into readable reports and dashboards
  • Assessing gaps within the current data and business planning process, problem solving to the core and developing recommendations for improvements and execute those improvements via kaizens, problem solving

Overall, you will be responsible for strengthening the AS&UX SCM's approach to data analytics to ensure transparency and accuracy of data and continuous improvement, making sure that the business analytics is at the highest accuracy and quality, it is easily accessible, enabling end-user to drive SCM performance and make business-savvy decisions.

You need to have an ability to cooperate and be able to mediate and align with different stakeholders, cultures and attitudes. Strong motivation, sense of urgency/proactivity, high-level of energy and problem-solving skills as well as ability to focus and willingness to understand the external influx of data (OEM's, suppliers) are key for this role.

Role Requirements

  • BA degree in Business/Finance Management, Statistics, Computer Science or similar relevant subjects
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in cross-functional if possible, supply chain/procurement area (automotive environment a plus)
  • Previous working experience in companies with solid continuous improvement culture and approach to lean e.g. Toyota, Honeywell or Royal Philips and/or data management consultancies
  • Advanced working knowledge in designing and creating Tableau reports and dashboards
  • Knowledge of SQL - subqueries, aggregations, functions, triggers, Indexes, DB optimization, creating/understanding relational data base models
  • Good SAP knowledge, especially in operational procurement areas, additional exposure to any ERP system advantage (Teradata, Data warehouse etc.)
  • Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, Statistical methods and data modelling knowledge (working knowledge of databases)
  • Advanced skills and certification in Alteryx a huge plus
  • Advanced VBA (Visual Basic for Applications in Excel, writing your own functions or commands in an xls
  • Excellent English
  • Lean/Six Sigma or Problem Solving experience and passion for continuous improvement a plus
