We are currently seeking a Sales Account Managers to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between our company and our clients, responsible for managing key accounts, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth within the automotive industry. You will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Your Role
- Sales responsibility for our customer in the product area "Electrical Distribution Systems" (wire harness).
- Development and implementation of innovative concepts to tap into market potential in the area of electrification
- Acquisition of pre-development projects and series orders
- Management of inquiry processes from tendering to completion, including contract negotiation / approvals
- Leading negotiations regarding all commercial issues with the customer
- Conducting price and cost calculations for proposals and contracts
- Liaison with Aptiv internal teams to understand and optimize costs for changes
- Development of Business Strategies for your OEM aligned with Aptiv goals on growth targets
- Tracking and reporting costs daily, and preparing key figures "KPI"
- Maintaining customer database in the B2B customer portal
- Implementing and supporting change management process in internal tools
- Collaborating and leading internal departments including Finance, Logistic, and Program Management to ensure seamless operations
- Transfer the "Voice of Customer" into the organization of Aptiv
Your Background
- Bachelor degree and/or Master's degree in Technology or Business (or similar) with at least 3 - 5 years of customer service and project management experience
- Experience with technical products in sales, preferably in wire harness architecture, is a plus.
- A solid understanding of commercial processes is an asset
- Active sales network with an agriculture OEM (e.g. John Deere, CLAAS, AGCO) is an advantage.
- Team player with strong negotiation skills, great personal responsibility as well as a customer oriented.
- Flexible way of working and willingness to travel
- Ability to resolve conflicts and find solutions, strategic thinking
- Outstanding verbal and written skills in English
