Your Role
As an EMEA Travel & Expense Accountant you will perform within the Aptiv values and culture. With a one team approach and a passion for results, you and your team develop ability to think and act like owners of our Aptiv business. Utilizing a sense of urgency, and, at all times operating with respect, you will play to win for our Aptiv business.
Your daily work will be related to:
- Timely and accurate execution of the accounting processes for travel expenses through appropriate documentation of the processes, updates and suggested improvements
- Timely support and performance of the frequent accounting, financial operations (i.e. preparation of jurnal vouchers, accruals, open balances cleansing, pre-payments, reconcile of the credit card inter-company activity and all open aged items, CARS) and administrative tasks (settings and updates of employee accounts in supported applications, preparation of reports, resolving employees query and requests) within the process T&E in line with company goals, procedures and policies
- Resolving daily operations issues, escalating where support is needed; indicating and addressing improvements in the T&E process to avoid/eliminate then
- Communication with internal auditors as required
- Achieve delivery of established goals while ensuring the high quality of customer service provided

Your Background
- Experience in the AP department or travel expenses in an international company (Business Service Center)
- Degree in accounting/finance would be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software like SAP
- Knowledge of Concur system would be a strong plus
- Very good command of English
- Well-developed prioritization and time management skills, good analytical skills and problem solving approach
- Great attention to details
