We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Execution Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Execution Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Manufacturing solutions to meet Aptiv's business needs. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Your Role
Solution Design: Design end-to-end Manufacturing solutions based on business requirements, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Implementation: Lead the implementation of Manufacturing solutions, including configuration, customization, integration with other systems, and data migration.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
Customization: Develop custom functionalities and modules within Manufacturing Execution System to address specific client needs.
Integration: Design and implement integrations between MES and other enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, PLM, and CRM.
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize MES solutions for improved efficiency and reliability.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of MES solutions.
Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Client Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients' technical teams, ensuring smooth adoption and operation of MES solutions.
Your Background
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting MES solutions.
- Preferred MES experience in discreet Manufacturing(i.e. Automotive, Aerospace, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MES platforms, including Process Builder, Machine Integration, Plant MPI, and Global Process Manager.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations management.
- Experience with customization and extension of MES using scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Knowledge of integration techniques such as web services, APIs, and message queues.
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Git, JIRA).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Client-Focused: Strong client-facing skills with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.
Certification: Delmia Apriso certification(s) preferred.
