Summary (About this Position):
The Connection Systems Ohio Operations Team has an exciting opportunity for candidates seeking an Operations Supervisor position in a world-class plastic injection molding plant. The successful candidate will have or obtain the knowledge and ability necessary to advance into a Process Engineer position.
Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):
- Effectively utilize employees, materials and equipment
- Administer policies, procedures and agreements with the Union
- Ensure quality performance according to plant specific goals
- Work any shift (AM, PM or midnights)
- Control attendance and costs
- Self-motivated individual that can effectively manage people and resources with little input from upper management
- Innovative thinking in order to achieve productivity and cost targets
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Management OR 10+ years of experience in a plastic injection mold facility
- 1+ years' experience as a supervisor in a unionized manufacturing environment
Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves):
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics or Materials Engineering
- Plastics experience with molding machines, tools and machine controls
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
- Resourcefully innovative and adapts in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
