Operational Buyer Assistant
Skill:
- High school or currently studying a university degree.
- English at a level of 80%.
- Experience not necessary.
- Skill and knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point).
- Teamwork.
- Oral and verbal communication in Spanish and English.
- Work under pressure.
- Available to work any shift option.
Your role:
- Direct activities to resolve material delivery problems with a sense of urgency and follow up until they are resolved for phases of Regular Production and Service Parts (if applicable).
- Document and track comps with distributors and manufacturers: deltas, quotes, material sourcing, negotiation with suppliers.
- Support for plants that require Production and/or service parts, monitoring and meetings with the team.
- Provide documentation support for approval of Spot buys with the SCM team of approvers.
- Negotiate with manufacturers/distributors better purchase terms (Price, Payment Term, Lead Time, etc.)
- Process and document Debit Memos for approval in the system
- Update Debit Memos information in Cost Recoveries report
- Process reports and tracker requirements on deltas and as required by your supervisor.
- Comply with policies and procedures: 0 Non-conformities with BSI, Internal Control, internal audits of EOS and clients.
