Your Role In your daily job you will:
• Design and develop 3D wire harness models using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, or equivalent). Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure proper integration of wire harnesses into vehicle systems.

• Define routing paths, clip locations, and protection components (e.g., conduits, tapes, sleeves) for wire harnesses.
• Perform design feasibility studies and ensure compliance with industry standards and OEM requirements.
• Optimize wire harness designs for manufacturability, weight reduction, and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including 3D math, BOMs, and design specifications.
• Support prototype builds and resolve design issues during the product development cycle.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in automotive wire harness design.
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D wire harness design for automotive applications.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, NX, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and wire harness components.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 6722, LV214) and OEM-specific requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, ENOVIA) is a plus.
