Your Role
At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), Compute and Security and User Experience products. In this role, you will design, develop, and validate diagnostics software for automotive applications. Your day to day will consist of the following:
Develop software for active safety production projects
Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems
Plan and coordinate software development activities with other global sites
Internal and customer diagnostics SW design and implementation and triaging
Responsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of the software on a hardware platform
Responsible to understand Autosar architecture and be able develop software
Coordinating with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives
Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination) and Functional Safety process compliance
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
At least 6 months of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics
Bilingual - proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures
Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
