Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional intern to join our team. If you find yourself curious and penetrating, this job is for you. Joining simulation team will make you become self-dependent with wide understanding of the simulation methodology.
Your task will be to perform thermal-electric and CFD numerical simulations in support of the product development team. You will be involved in each design stage, working under the supervision of Senior Simulation Experts, and collaborating closely with all Aptiv locations worldwide. You will be part of a real-life project team, with the ability to contribute to product development.
Your Role:
- Support the thermal simulation team in creating numerical models using FEM/FVM approach
- Prepare 3D geometry using CAD software and conduct thermal-electric CFD simulations of the charging architecture of electric vehicles and other electrical components
- Prepare a basic test stand for analysis validation, equipment control (temperature and voltage drop measurements), and results presentation in MS Office
- Execute tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines

Your Background:
- Essential knowledge of heat and mass transfer and computational fluid dynamics
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- English at least on B2 level (written and spoken)
- Willingness to learn and develop in the field of numerical simulations
