Aptiv is currently searching for Indirect Country Buyer - IT Category 90% (hardware, software, network, mobility and IT services), but also Categories like Services, Manufacturing Procurement (10%).

In that role you will work closely with the sourcing & contract negotiation team along with stakeholders to manage purchase orders value up to $50K for EMEA region.

Successful candidate will be required to have a good understanding of Sourcing & Procurement process of IT Category.

Key responsibilities will include managing sourcing requests related to spot buy, ECatalog and blanket order ensuring compliance, following process and executing the sourcing per category strategy.

Your Role:

  • Responsible for managing indirect sourcing requests related to spot buy, ECatalog and blanket order taking into consideration process compliance, timeliness, category strategy
  • Manage sourcing spend effectively and improving the structure spend metrics through increasing eCatalog/ERP contracts/Blanked Orders adoption
  • Identify and deliver consistent cost savings while working with sourcing team
  • Responsible for stakeholder management; internal stakeholder and supplier management
  • Manage end to end of RFx activities (Request for Information, Request for Proposal and Request for Quotation) assuring compliance through the process.
  • Responsible souring decision and manage sourcing project completion in Ariba
  • Act fast when required, ensure compliance on supplier onboarding and keep stakeholders informed

Your Background:

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree, Engineering degree will be preferred
  • 3-4 years relevant experience (ideally in cross-functional supply chain/procurement area)
  • Experience in Sourcing & Procurement process for IT Category - required
  • Good knowledge of MSOffice package (Outlook, Excel)
  • Language: English min B2
  • Stakeholder Management, Time management, prioritization skills, Negotiations skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment
  • Language: Hungarian, Serbian, French, German B1 will be an advantage
