System Architect is responsible for performing design, development and support of existing and new products architectures. Is developing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.
As L2+ System Architect Engineer, you will be part of a cross system and architecture team.
Your will contribute to Aptiv platform development, where your main responsibilities are the following:
- Analyzes vehicle level requirements and identifies functional use-cases
- Defines functions and required interfaces between functions to provide the desired vehicle behavior for each use-case using activity diagrams
- Allocates functions to logical elements / product architecture and creates traceability with logical interfaces.
- Identifies reusable functional elements, groups or interfaces and maintains a library of reusable items.
- Ensures scalability and re-usability of the designed vehicle architecture across different vehicle functions, customers, products and domains.
- Analyzes vehicle architectures and evaluates design alternatives.
- Manages vehicle and vehicle subsystem for different vehicle variants.
- Allocates vehicle system requirements of any given vehicle function to logical architecture elements.
- Applies and improves systems tool chain / process/ method development.
- Defines system interfaces (internal and external)
- Stakeholder of the Program Increment planning, system demos and retrospectives

Your Background:
- Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
- Experience on model-based design notations (e.g., SysML or UML) and methods (e.g., SYSMOD or FAS)
- Experience with modelling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- Team player, highly motivated, flexible, and well organized
- Good abstraction and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with safety standards and safety systems (e.g., ISO2626, SOTIF) is a plus
