SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Sr Director of Industry Marketing to lead our strategic industry marketing team. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and oversee a team of senior marketers spearheading the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our software products. The Global Sr Director will be instrumental in defining the GTM strategy per vertical in alignment with sales/business objectives and driving the adoption of offerings into those verticals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive a customer-centric approach: Leverage internal and external research and SMEs, to understand market trends and insights, and translate them into customer needs and opportunities. Build vertical Global Frameworks to identify each industry's critical priorities, challenges, and needs. Develop Ideal Customer Profiles and Buyer Personas per vertical and use cases
- Build our story: Work with vertical SMEs and analysts to validate our Global Frameworks, GTM approach, and messaging. Help craft our story per industry.
- Craft GTM plans: Create a 12-month marketing roadmap per vertical including thought leadership topics, demand generation campaigns, events, and content strategy in alignment with the Global Frameworks
- Lead a global team: Lead, mentor, and support a team of four senior marketers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Monitor performance: Regularly analyze and report industry marketing successes and challenges. Establish and monitor critical KPIs and report via a monthly scorecard on progress related to awareness and demand generation.
- Communicate: Create and disseminate weekly highlights to internal stakeholders, showcasing key metrics, achievements, and lessons learned.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and key marketing teams to ensure alignment of strategies and messaging. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles - product or industry marketing, with a strong emphasis on global strategy development.
- Proven track record of leading successful marketing programs and initiatives across multiple regions.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and innovate within a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving targets and driving business growth.
