Your Role
An ECAD engineer guides Aptiv's automotive OEM customers in having the best in class electronics by doing the best in class PCB designs for wide range of products.

- Design and verification of multilayer PCBs with focus on low-cost, high reliability and high volume manufacturing.
- Strong capability of using Multilayer and HDI stack-ups.
- Create schematics, bill of materials, and support PCB layouts using Mentor DxDesigner, Xpedition and Valor
- Create design and production documentation (schematics, PCBs, electrical characteristics, etc.).
- Create Tooling and related required drawings.
- Valor creation and verification of Valor output.
- Circuit calculations and simulations as required for PCB design.
- Co-operation with local and remote engineering teams.
- Active participation in peer reviews. On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with APTIV quality standards.
- Follow Electrical Design Process. Continuous development of professional qualifications. Secure confidential information and company's property.
- On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system
- Create business impact through cost saving and participating in Business critical reviews
Your Background
- Working towards a Bachelors/Masters in Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in PCB design for digital and analog circuits with particular focus on microcontroller devices, medium power analog circuits and signal measurement
- Hands on experience in ECAD tools preferably Mentor graphics Xpedition tool flow
- Familiarity with Automotive PCB design exposure
- Knowledge on High speed simulations
- Knowledge on Electronic circuit design
