Your Role
Join us as a Environment Health Safety & Sustainability Specialist and become an integral part of our global, diverse, and collaborative team. You'll play a crucial role in contributing to the development of highly sophisticated compute and sensing products aimed at driving a safer, greener, and more connected future of mobility. In this role you will be responsible of assessing occupational and environmental risks, coordinating safety activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and certifications, integrating prevention measures into company practices, and collaborating with external health and safety providers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and you will have the autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way. - Develop processes for assessing occupational risks and environmental aspects
- Design, program and develop prevention and protection measures
- Technically coordinate environmental and occupational health and safety activities
- Organize the documentation necessary for managing prevention in the plant
- Promote the integration of prevention into the company's communication systems, through information, awareness-raising and training for workers and others involved in the workplace
- Develop the company's relations with the bodies of the National Network for the Prevention of Occupational Risks
- Monitor the plant's internal and external environmental and safety audits and following up on the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Participate in the approval of new chemical products/equipment to be used in the company's factories in conjunction with the Process Engineering and Purchasing areas
- Collaborate with occupational medicine in the prevention of occupational illnesses and accidents
- Identify and assessing legislative requirements, internal procedures and the requirements of the Environmental and OSH Management System in force and promoting compliance with them
- Develop EH&S activities within the scope of Certification processes ISO 14001&45001 and related Standards
- Coordinate environmental and OSH analyses and monitoring (noise, gas emissions, waste water, drinking water, among others)
- Define the requirements for handling and storing chemical substances
- Interface with External Providers (Occupational Medicine and Nursing Services and Security Services)
Your Background
- Engineering Degree with H&S Certification
- Fluent verbal and written English knowledge
- Results Orientation
- Planning, organization and management capacity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork and Interpersonal skills
