Position Summary
The Advanced Quality Engineer ensures a flawless start up a new business from AQE side. This means working with Process, Project and Design Engineers to execute advanced quality activities for new product development and introduction, support customer interface and miscellaneous projects as assigned. At the same time, the Advanced Quality Engineer will be responsible for mentoring & coaching less experienced Advanced Quality Engineer roles.

Your Role
In your daily job you will:
• Work closely with Project Teams to ensure flawless start-up of a new business from AQE side;
• Participate in and conduct Risk Assessments for new / resourced parts and suppliers;
• Sampling Approval (Production Part Approval Process; PPAP/PPF): initialize, judge and approve products and processes at suppliers according to requirements (AIAG, VDA);
• Perform and mentor Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities of suppliers: Monitor and assure that timing plans for product and process developments are established and executed in accordance to customer requirements;
• Perform Supplier audits according VDA 6.3 and Run at Rates (R@R);
• Manage suppliers changing processing (Supplier Suggestion Change Request);
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in the role are your:
• Technical education (Engineer/Technician or adequate background);
• Professional experience of min 3 years of Supplier Quality, Advance Quality or Quality Area in Automotive Industry;
• Knowledge of manufacturing, quality and engineering processes, especially injection molding process;
• IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 Process Audit Certified and experience;
• Quality tools knowledge that can apply independently: APQP, PPAP, Measurement System Analysis, FMEA, Statistical Process Control, Continuous Improvement, Lean,
• Sufficient English language proficiency (read and write reports and procedures, communicate with international departments);
• Self-confident appearance in front of supplier management;
• Flexibility and travel readiness;
• Driving license category B.
