You are up and coming electrical engineer that is ready to prove themselves in the semi-conductor. You are a New College Graduate with possibly 1-2 years of job experience, and are looking for an exciting challenge. You will be mentored by high level, established engineers in the semi-conductor industry to mold the next phase of your career. Job is focused on all aspects of product verification, from PCBAs, subassemblies, and final product that include FPGA based control systems, DC power supplies, and high-power RF.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a cross functional R&D team environment into developing test processes, fixtures, and other electro-mechanical automated equipment.
  • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs verification and validation interfaces, equipment, and complete specifications/procedures for new products

  • Establish & monitor process controls (including SPC) and mistake proof processing techniques
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills that drive to root cause and corrective action
  • Proficient communication skills and organizational skills

  • Learning to become a proactive, self-starter engineer, learning to hold themselves accountable to meet goals and deadlines
  • Deploy and maintain processes to manufacturing
  • Interfacing with oscilloscopes, multimeters, vector network analyzers, DC power supplies to test RF and DC circuitry
  • Learning DFX (Design for Excellence in Assembly, Test, and Service)

Define and establish test methods, processes, and tools to streamline new products

Functional Knowledge

  • BS (EE/EET/ME/IE)
  • Basic statistical analysis, Gauge R & R, Correlation analysis, and Design of Experiments experience
  • Experience with C#, C++, Python, Linux is a plus
  • Written and verbal communication skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Beginner level problem-solving techniques relating to manufacturing processes.
  • Beginner level experience introducing new products from a prototype to a production environment.
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives
  • Ability to manage Engineering Change activities
  • 10-20% domestic travel may be required. International travel may be required as well.

U.S. Salary Range:
$64,000.00 - $88,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
