Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and effective maintenance support.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor activities on-site, ensuring compliance with plant safety and operational standards.
Functional Knowledge
- Proficiency in mechanical systems, including motors, drives, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including wiring, circuit analysis, and PLC programming.
- Expertise in automation control systems, including sensors, actuators, and control logic.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Business Expertise
- Ability to prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and equipment criticality.
- Understanding of the impact of equipment downtime on production and business operations.
- Capability to assess the cost-effectiveness of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Experience in maintaining compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.

- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
