Applied Materials is the global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world. We design, build and service manufacturing equipment for the semiconductor and display industries.
Based in Singapore, this project manager will need to be highly technical and fill the role to help New Product Transitions, Form/Fit/Function, and Extended Factory Team for MDP. They will prepare project plans and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Will drive project deliverables and task details through the use of reports, tracking charts and, checklists and communicate information on projects between Singapore and Austin.
- Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
- Monitors and reports to the business unit on project's cost performance.
- Will participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects. Will contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals.
- Will research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution.

Requirements
- Relevant years of experiences as technical project manager in global manufacturing/ semiconductor industry
- Any knowledge in supporting new products, suppliers, and obsolescence/FFF a plus
- Someone who takes initiative and be autonomous in their job role
- Able to communicate clearly verbally during presentations and has strong written communication
- Able to commit to overseas time zones for meetings at times
