Business Environment

AGS (Applied Global Services) Business Unit is our services organization delivers value to our customers. The group tasked with helping our customers accelerate the ramp of new process nodes to high-volume manufacturing and then maximize wafer output while maintaining the highest possible yields and optimizing costs. This role is in AGS Operations team, which is focus on service and spares supply chain management.

The work involves qualification of Applied Materials spare parts at Taiwan regional customers while collaborating with AGS field service organization, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Supply chain, Supplier manufacturing teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple complex projects, working cross functionally with global teams located in Santa Clara, India, Austin, and other regions
  • Understanding the global aspects of the projects and aligning with global team for execution
  • Work with all Taiwan regional account (TRA) customers, understanding their High value problems and helping them with Applied solutions.
  • Work on large data, analyzing the data and come up with recommendations to management
  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
  • Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.
  • Coordinates allocated resources from within the Division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
  • Drives cost schedule performance of Spare parts for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.
  • Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
  • Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
  • Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.
  • Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above with Engineering education background
  • 5 years above of working experience, semiconductor experience is preferred
  • MS excel, PowerPoint expertise needed
  • Negotiate capability, to be able to persuade others
  • Good English spoken and written communication
  • Need to be flexible on work timing (ability to adjust work hrs to different time zones)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Travel rate: 10% domestic and 5% international to Santa Clara /US
