Key Responsibilities

  • This person will play a key role in the strategic direction of the Applied SmartFactory portfolio (automation software) and its business direction.
  • In strategy generation this team identifies industry trends, builds a strategic framework, identifies future investments.
  • The team works closely with the business development and product management teams to align on new segment opportunities and existing product needs.
  • The team also will work closely with the digital marketing and event teams to evangelize and promote Applied Materials in our markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience and a strong business acumen are required.
  • 5+ years of experience with discrete manufacturing automation systems. Semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • 5+ year of experience in establishing direction and carrying out those plans.
  • Experience interacting with customers, presenting to senior management, proficiency with Microsoft products are skills necessary to be a successful candidate.
  • This leader must be able to create a vision, recognize and interpret market trends, and create action plans to meet the market requirements.
  • Must be able to operate independently.
  • Must have the capability to operate based on objectives and prioritize required tasks.
  • International and domestic travel required.

    U.S. Salary Range:
    $140,000.00 - $192,500.00

    The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

    For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
