Project Manager - Carrier Integration

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead integration projects with our transportation service partners within the Transportation Management System (TMS) initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technology integration, logistics, and process improvement. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external providers to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions and optimizing related processes.

Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for this position.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage project plans for technology integration initiatives with carriers.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.

Technology Integration:

  • Oversee the integration of technology solutions with carrier systems.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and process integration between internal systems and carrier platforms.
  • Oversight in development and maintenance of integration interfaces using appropriate tools and technologies.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current processes related to technology integration and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall process effectiveness.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for integration processes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with carriers, business units, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive project objectives.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support for integration-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in technology integration projects.
  • Strong background in logistics and working with carrier systems.
  • Experience with integration tools and technologies (e.g., EDI, API).
  • Proficiency in integration tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and carrier systems.
  • Ability to perform deep root cause analysis and provide technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve integration processes.
  • Experience in developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage stakeholder expectations.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
