The Close Management Process Architect (Non-Technical Project/Program Management III) role reports into the Finance Systems and Integration (FSI) team.
This role will provide global visibility and ample opportunity for growth in many different areas of finance. You will spearhead the development and execution of our Close Management roadmap and be a key driver in delivering innovative solutions, enhancing functionality, and driving process improvements, automation, standardization, and optimization within our Record to Report processes while ensuring compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Administration: Oversee other team members work related to ongoing system maintenance and administration to eliminate data discrepancies, redundancy, and stale records.
- Control Environment: Ensure the system control environment aligns with our SOX compliance requirements and support internal and external audit requirements and testing.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with GIS and external Blackline support teams to deliver effective solutions and resolve issues promptly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Blackline and SmartClose users, to identify improvement opportunities, implement enhancements, and efficiently solve real-time problems.
- Training Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for finance and cross-functional end-user communities.
- M&A Integration: Support mergers and acquisitions by driving reorganization efforts to ensure seamless transitions.
- Lead Process Innovation: Drive process innovation activities to enhance automation and capabilities.
- Technology Integration: Dive into adjacent processes and technologies to understand their impact on the Close Management domain.
- Strategic Design: Utilize your expertise in SAP, Blackline, and SmartClose to create innovative designs and implement processes that meet business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous close, automated processes, and the use of advanced capabilities.
This role will enhance your understanding of how our systems and technologies integrate to suit business needs and solve complex finance problems. As the Process Architect for Close Management, you will leverage SAP, Blackline, SmartClose, and other cutting-edge technologies to design and enhance best-in-class finance processes and will have opportunities to leave your mark on the finance organization through innovative design and process implementation to help finance achieve process excellence and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An additional degree in Computer Science or MIS is a plus, but we value diverse educational backgrounds!
- 4+ years of Financial Accounting and/or Financial Planning & Analysis, with experience in performing account reconciliations, journal entry, and fiscal period/quarter end close procedures.
- 4+ years experience in R2R Processes and/or Audit Controls, preferably supporting annual SOX testing and control monitoring.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
